I wouldn't say this place should be 13+, I would say that every new user should take a test to see if they can handle the content, can be appropriate and reasonable leaders of a stream, and be respectful to others, and if they fail, they have to wait a week to take it again.

That means that 12 year olds like me are allowed, but they have to be respectful. Really I think it would make the site more popular, but there wouldn't be as many kids marking stuff as NSFW without a reason.

It's a rule made to comply with some American law about website content and advertising targeted at less than 13-year olds.

Um, hello? I'm 12, about to turn 13. I have seen so many under aged people on this site, and most of them I couldn't even tell were under aged until they said so. The reason why I'm here is because I can handle the content here and be respectful. What did that guy ever do to you? If I saw that comment with no context, I would instantly assume you were a kid. The reason why the 13+ rule is here is because kids might not be able to handle the content on this site or be respectful. This purely says that the content here is not targeted toward people under 13. That does not mean people under the age of 13 can use the site. It's just saying that the content here is not for children. However, I can handle the content, and so can a lot of other under aged users on this site. This does not say that users under 13 are strictly not allowed, it is literally just a content warning. It's really just saying that this site has some adult humor. What you are saying is effectively this:
"No person under 13 can watch the Simpsons because of its adult humor and content, no matter if they can handle the content or not. It is strictly the law."

Sounds dumb, right? Anyone can watch the Simpsons if they know what the humor means, no matter the age. I mean, maybe that's a bit extreme, but you get my point. Content warnings DO NOT mean that anyone under the recommended age is strictly banned from seeing or playing that content. Plenty of kids under 13 watch PG-13 movies or play games rated T for Teen, including me. Just because content is directed at a certain age group does not mean people outside of that age group can watch/play that content, as long as they can handle it. If my parents weren't so open, I would not be on this site. However, I knew about a lot of things and I feel I was prepared for this site. Read the fine print of things. It really gives you a lot more knowledge than reading the big print only. Can we be friends instead of arguing about stuff like this?
