in fact, yes.
-They have so far only attacked a singular country within the old soviet union, and it's alienating the rest who are now preparing their own defenses
-that one country they attacked is getting continual support flooding into them from around the world.
-that one country is then using that support to force the Russians away from Kharkiv and out of Kherson, two *highly* strategically important cities.
-Russia is now resorting to conscription in a desperate attempt to salvage the war, which is only making their already-critical lack of supplies worse.
I don't think Russia is close, or will ever come close, to reuniting the soviet union at this rate.
