If they actually take two seats, maybe. Last flight I was on, the guy across the aisle from me was sticking out into the aisle by at least 8 inches. They actually had to lift the armrest so his fat ass could sit down. Technically, he only took up one seat.

In all fairness to them and the people near them, if they pay for two seats, they should get two seats. The passenger beside them shouldn't have to lean the other way for the whole flight to avoid being in constant contact with them.

True, but they're not concerned with comfort, only about the weight per gallon ratio. The more "seats" they can sell, the more money they make over and above the cost of the fuel.

Makes sense. All I know is that between him hanging out into the aisle, and the flight attendant who was making "the rocking world go round", I got bumped almost non-stop for 4+ hours
