I found this gif in cat gif search and I see no sign of that. Looks like at end they had a hold on kitten and had it pulled in a little closer while moving the camera to turn it off. I've come across such gifs though where people do such things and find it funny. My dad was like that so I have no use for that treatment. It looks like they likely put it down or gave it to someone behind them maybe.
