Glaceon isn’t completely useless, it counters Garchomp with a double weakness (Ground and Dragon types are both weak to ice), also I have no idea what game they showed for Espeon.

For Espeon: *points to poison and fighting types*

For Umbreon: *points to Psychic and ghost types*

For Sylveon: *points to no one but dragon types because that’s all it’s good for (and fighting types I guess but we have that covered), that and the fact it’s a pain in the ass to get*

For Leafeon: *does well against most Pokémon, especially well against water, rock, and ground, just avoid fire and flying types*

Not really, ice is good against ground types as well, which makes Glaceon one of the best counters for Pokémon like garchomp and Flygon.

you know what else is a good counter those exact pokemon

Ice types are better because it does quadruple the damage. Both can earthquake Sylveon easy.
