Actually Austrian German differs very much from regular German and Swiss German. Kinda like English is different is England, the US, Canada and Australia.
Yes but if an Austrian speaks his/dialect it's very difficult to understand, even if you're a bit familiar with the German language. Swiss is even worse, trust me.
