I made a meme about declaring war on the spam bots. It's submitted in fun and is pending approval. My declaration of war has come. It will take a lot of effort but booting the spam bots will be worth it.

He's getting pressured by corporations to reopen because his gazillionaire buddies are losing money right now. So are his golf courses which is why he had to tweet out a pic of his own golf course when he announced they were reopening.

Buddy, you have to learn how the government works. Also, ancient impact font memes only make you look like a cringy facebook mom. Gross!

The president can't just reopen everything at a very whim. The governors of our states are the real enemies, and their decisions have the most direct impact on our lives.
0 ups, 4y,

You need to wake up. You don't know sh*t about the government. Cringe to your tiny little non-existent heart's content. IDGAF. Trump and the governors are getting pressured by high level donors to reopen. The governor of Texas is getting the screws put to him as we speak by the oil companies. You have no idea just how much corporations control our government. People thought voting in a businessman as POTUS was a good idea. Trump doesn't care about you. Trump IS corporate America.

God, please Karen, stay off of this absolutely obscure social media site and complain about fences! Also, "working in a state legislature" doesn't mean anything. Hell, you were probably a paige boy.

First off, you don't know shit about the government, as proven by your insatiable need to gloat and act stupid. Now let me explain here: The president is being pressured to reopen the country because America, as it stands, has to make a decision. Do we, A: Keep the quarantine but eventually allow a major economic disaster to occur, or B: Lift the quarantine and risking many deaths. So far you've done nothing but attack the president, but what I'd like to focus on is the practical side of all this, as in how it affects us. And contrary to what you might think, we will probably agree on a lot of things on this virus. Trust me, I'm not one of those guys protesting the quarantine out in the street. But I think you need to understand the difficult situation that we're facing. What I'm saying is, as citizens we cannot understand this tough situation in as full breadth as the president or any elected official would. Say what you will about him, IDGAF. I'm just saying that because we're not in power, high ranking politicians will probably have more information than we do.

I know a hell of a lot more about the way our government works than you do. You can speculate and read all the books you want but unless you're on the inside watching the wheels turn, you don't really know. And I wasn't a "paige boy" (do they even still have those nowadays?) But go ahead, sling all the mud you want because I disagreed with you.

The elite want to get back to watching all the big money roll in. They want us to go back out there and risk our lives so they can maintain their lavish lifestyles. If this whole thing causes our society to reorganize and not be centrally controlled by corporations, I'm all for it. More power to us.

No, I don't believe you do know any more than I do. You haven't really demonstrated it and you haven't really conducted yourself as though you were part of a state legislature, unless you could tell me exactly what you did there. Because right now I'm totally convinced you were a paige girl.

Also, I want to be clear that if we can somehow live in a stable economy without wealthy corporations controlling us, I'm all for it and I can stand with you. But I think where we disagree is that what you're suggesting seems (to me, at least) like a conspiracy. If you could list some specific corporations and be clear as to how they're controlling us immorally, I might understand your position better.

HA. Truth is, you didn't have a real job. You're bullshitting me, but I already knew is based on your other comments. Also, you falsely assume I'm a Republican, so your personal attack means nothing. Also, I know the truth. No disagreeing will prove that you still don't know shit about how the government works. There will come a time when you're going to find out the truth and remember that I was right about what I'm saying.
[deleted]
1 up, 4y
Not only that, but you have not stated any specific corporations or directly addressed my challenge to provide real evidence. Your logic is nonexistent. Just like your state legislative experience.
0 ups, 4y
LOL ok. I could tell you all about what I did and what my job was there but it's really none of your business and you probably wouldn't believe me anyway. Think what you want. I know you Republicans love to stand in your echo chamber. There will come a time, though, when you're going to find out the truth and remember that I was right about what I'm saying.

He cares far more about the constitution than the pathetic governors that keep their citizens enslaved during this faux apocalypse. Trump doesn't take foreign money either, he applies tariffs because America has been screwed over enough to cause a tremendous deficit. Yes, he wants America to work. Why? Because AMERICA WANTS TO WORK. If you disagree then you are in the minority.

its not about the constitution, he literally closed down the travel - so if the government can't lock down, he locked down.

He cares about the stock market, you dolt.

Again, you are wrong. Trump represents the people and the constitution, not the stock market. This is evident through his actions. Also, it's only logical to lock down China travel. What's important is within the country's borders.

You poor sucker. You bought Trump's BS and drank his orange kool-aid. He didn't lockdown anything. 30k people were allowed to come back from China after he banned travel --- from China! Not to mention all the other countries. People should've stayed where tf they were but no, all these people had to come back and bring the coronavirus with them.

And Trump wipes his butt with the Constitution daily. He's there to make money for his family and his rich friends. You're a loser in his eyes. You're not one of them. Ivanka tried to pander to their poor supporters calling them "the real elite." What a f-ing joke.

I can't with the impact font. Please Karen, go do something better.
Trump did lock down any foreign Chinese from entering America, which is pretty significant, but he also allowed Americans to return home, which isn't so bad considering current social distancing laws. You're being a mainstream media parrot and it's not making you look good.

Trump has consistently followed the constitution more than Obama. You're trying to push your narrative because Trump happens to have more money than you, and you're using that to say that he is "greedy" or whatever. You are only deceiving yourself by buying into an agenda that doesn't have a single shred of merit.
0 ups, 4y
I didn't mind Trump as much when he was on the Apprentice. I used to watch it, in fact. It's just when he switched over to the dark side and started turning our country upside down with his xenophobic, racist platform that he used to get into the oval office that I started having a problem with him. And no, he doesn't care about the constitution. Because he hates the free press. He hates the truth being printed about him. He hates the 1st Amendment if it's not kissing his ass.

He loves dictators because he wants to be one. He can't stand the fact that over half the country isn't falling for his BS. I'm not buying into any agenda. I formed my own opinion of him by watching him campaign for POTUS, and listening to all the horrible things he was saying. He lost me as a supporter a long time ago and he did it all on his own.

Not just Trump, a lot of these corporations that are pressuring the government to reopen included. CEOs are calling out governors on Twitter to reopen. Do you think they'll be personally standing in their factories elbow to elbow with 200 other people breathing in each other's air or wearing a damn mask all day? No. They'll be isolating at home getting tested every damn day while the cogs are out there risking their lives for a measely $14-20/hr.

"Why wouldn't his word alone be enough?

Because history has shown that his word is essentially meaningless and he has been BSing his way through this pandemic at nearly every turn for obvious reasons... Dr. Fauci is 1 truth away from getting the axe, as is the rest of the revolving door of his staff.

I also disagree about your statements regarding knowledge of his character. Besides what he has chooses to show us on a daily basis, numerous things have been involuntarily revealed which also provide insight... Fraud in his charity, his scam university, paying hush money to a porn star, a playboy bunny, the p***y grabber tapes, numerous sexual allegations..... And this is only the sh*t that he got caught doing.. who knows what else is out there. I'm still curious about his tax returns.

If what you're saying is true, his word is as meaningless as any other president. But Fauci isn't the knight in shining armor you think he is. He is neither transparent nor trustworthy, and based on past statements he has made, we have little reason to trust him right now.

Also, you won't get to see Trump's tax returns. And the sexual allegations are BS. So is Stormy Daniels. And basically anything during his tenure so far.
0 ups, 4y,

There has never been a 4 or 8 year term president who bullsh*t on the level that Trump has so far. This is why anyone who tells the truth is a problem for him. This is why his administration has been a revolving door. This is why he pays people for silence. You either go along with Trump's bullsh*t or you get axed. Fauci may not be a knight in shining armor but if he gets the boot after working for every president since Reagan, it will be no surprise why.

I think it's possible we will eventually see his tax returns (probably after he is no longer president.. at that point any possible damaging information won't matter).. And I mean you're free to think whatever you want but Stormy and Karen McDougal got however many thousands of dollars for a reason. To keep their mouth shut.

I think Trump has BS'd more about Obama alone than Obama has BS'd in total. I mean he beat that birth certificate drum for nearly a decade, blaming him for slow coronavirus testing, founder of ISIS, etc... I'd almost bet money "obamagate" is just more BS.. maybe I'm wrong though idk

Your ad hominem comments are biased and obviously come from an emotional view rather than a rational, logical view. You can post a list of "lies" the president has told, but the same could be done with any president. If we strictly look at the things he has done, he presents himself as a reasonable, right-wing president who has increased jobs and lowered unemployment across the charts, including with women and minorities. You may disagree with these statements, but my point is that I personally am not enamored by personality or quirks and I don't give two shits how dumb he is. I do not consider myself an all-out Trump supporter. He represents my personal Republican ideals rather well, and so I will tend to hold optimistic views of his leadership, based on decisions he has made that I agree with.
Plus, the fact that he is the president means that we do not have the full knowledge of his true character, as us citizens are not in such a demanding position as he is. We only know about him what he chooses to show us. This comment is not meant to defend the president, but to show that your views only hit on insignificant, subjective topics.
