"Today, polar bears are among the few large carnivores that are still found in roughly their original habitat and range--and in some places, in roughly their natural numbers."
According to their tally of figures -taking into consideration declining populations, increased populations, stable populations and those estimated but "unknown"- the overall pop remains statistically unchanged since 1973.
