That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard! HOW can this be considered spam or advertising?! Man... were you able to straighten it out with mod of that stream?

No reply yet. Dunno if that's the mod that did it.......I have a feeling someone might be going rogue. I've seen a lot of things unfeatured in other threads lately.

How many mods are in that stream? Because I tell you I have a theory. Sometimes with all these mods someone will flag a meme and then catch the flag themselves and unfeature it. You know, because they are being a jerk. OR someone who is a general jerk will just maliciously flag posts, and the moderator may just remove them simply because they were flagged. I have seen this in streams that I moderate is why I even suggest it. When I see a flag on a meme I actually check it, and if the flag is uncalled for I do not pull the meme.

No clue. How can you tell who is a MOD other than scanning comments? I figured maybe it was flagged and got removed. We had a jerky user the other day going around flagging stuff that had to be re-featured.

You can only find out by asking, or checking profiles to see who is listed.

LoriMac, another Mac she claims to be her hubby, MemeMasterProductions, CooCoo4CoCoPuffs and another 1 or 2 are all the same person. Look at the templates they use and the captions.

I called him on it when I saw him mention his reason in comments to the user he denied feature. I don't know if he still does that. But yeah. Anyhoo. That's what we're dealing with.

Most likely he still does, because people who are constipated about such don't sway, it's just too easy or tempting for them.

I was actually thinking that. Glad It's not just me there. It seems a little shady that this gif was flagged and removed under the accusation of spam and advertisement. This had to be a malicious act.

Under a different name I had an encounter with them almost 2 years ago. They all 'ganged up' on me, and it was glaringly obvious they were one single individual saying the exact same thing. Really weird, like vary it up at least.

This gif is neither, obviously someone with a vendetta hassling the OP.
That's the problem with these multiple streams, usermods are making it too personal. If they can't at least try to be impartial, they should leave it to someone who can.

I expected this sort of thing would happen. I do not trust it.

It seems like a good idea, foster niche communities for creativity for certain subjects that might get lost heaped with the rest otherwise, but at least mod names should be posted, like with what happened to the OP meme, it might clarify things.

That is one reason I don't do the side streams too much. There is really no way to get around some of this.

Especially if you don't know who the mods are, as happened once with a meme I posted on one and got unfeatured because the mod was friends with a certain idiot.

I actually posted in the imgflip stream asking for that feature. And for this reason. There is no accountability really. There was a stream owner who refused to feature a meme which had a typo. That kind of crap is stupid. And then spiteful people. Maybe if enough people complain they will grant this.

And there is too much for the real mods to cover for abuses.

For a typo? How ridiculous can people be? Stuff goes to people's heads and they think they're something bigger than they are.
