It's nice to see somebody have the balls to put themselves out there and create something. This could have benefitted from the forverse option in the gif maker. Keep at it :)

I had thought those options were imgflip pro and so didn't even open them. Thanks! Yeah, I could've put a MLP in the convoy cos Octavia Melody XD. They were originally Coca Cola logos and I just couldn't have that kind of free advertising going on! :-)

Glad to help, I've been making this kind of stuff nearly two years now and I'm still figuring out new things. Check out toolpic.com if you are on a pc. It's free and all you need to really know to get started is that when you add an image it's called a layer. That you mover those layers by clicking on the word edit at the top of the screen and choosing free distort or free transform. That plus the eraser tool and you can add just about any picture to another. It also helps to add png after anything you want to search for to use as a layer.

I'll break it all down for ya ;)
Say you want to add the death star to an picture of the night sky you already have.

google search: deathstar png
look for a picture of the deathstar that has a faded checker pattern in the background that's called a transferable background like the one on the green upvote arrow you used in the pic above.

Go to toolpic.com and open the picture of the night sky you have.

Click on the word layer to bring up the layer menu and choose open image as a layer to open your transferable deathstar image on top of your pic of the night sky.

Then click on edit to bring up the edit menu and choose either free transform or free distort so you can move the deathstar where you want it and even bend or stretch it to fit better

There are a lot more things you can do than that, the eraser tool is something you will use the most. But that right there is the basics to picture editing in a nutshell.

Feel free to ask me anything if I'm around I'll reply.

LOL but seriously THANKS!
I'm copying and saving this info for later. I only have an old shoe-i mean-IPhone at present. Amazing the stuff one can pull off with it though. :-)

Most apps or photo shop sites us the same basic formula. I finally just bought a chromebook I use solely for stuff like this. As long as you are having a good time nothing else matters.

I play around at a lot of stuff, there are fun photo shop contests out there. Kinda like making memes without words really. Here's an example of a recent one ;)

Thanks glad you like it. That was a fun one, they don't keep track of how many votes or points you get. I just enjoy being a part of it and seeing what different people come up with for the same picture. You don't win cash or a prize on that site like some of the others I do, but it's my favorite one because of the people that compete. It's called fark.com if you want to check it out, you have to click on the part that says contests to see the photoshop stuff ;)

Quite an amusing one for starters. Yes that's a cool way to do a site. Very Maori.

This one took some serious effort. Probably one of the best I have ever done in my opinion. Matching up the background like the grass and the fence. Making that not look photo shopped is a real challenge. A lot of stuff like the fruit ninja one is relatively easy. The shadowing and such can be tricky, but once you've done that a lot it becomes rather routine.

The pictures where you alter the background itself with pieces from other parts it. That's the really challenging stuff, I've been working on getting better at it for a couple months now.
