This must be high school wrestling. The guy in the purple going for a cradle without securing the leg, that is why his opponent is flipping and flopping. Arms around the waist like that is not a proper move and does nothing to offset his center of gravity. Knock the knee, it is a simple 1/2 nelson cradle take down.

I didn't know any of that cause I'm not into wrestling, real or fake. I just thought the ref looked hilarious sliding on the floor like that, but thanks for stopping by and the info.

Yeah it isn't unusual for a ref to slide like that, but the specific one you put up really does look like he's gliding and flying by especially at that angle. haha Most refs just glide on their stomach. That ref must've been a long time ref to develop skills like that.

He has to see if both shoulders touch the mat to start counting to 3. I guess only people who either were in wrestling or watch wrestling (real wrestling, not WWE) would know this.

So basically you can pin the whole guy down, but if 1 of his shoulders is up, ref cannot start counting.
