There isn’t enough space for me to comment on your previous comment, so I guess we’re starting another comment stream XD

If you’re implying that the majority of the world rejects God, I’d agree with you.

If that’s not what you’re asking, I’m not sure what your question is...

Oh, wow; yes. I should've known that this impflip is not the same as any other.

With that said, not just the majority but the entire world would reject God. There's no exception to Romans 8:7 as all have a carnal mind, not just fleshly weakness.

There are those who hate a certain viewpoint with a passion, and that's OK. But then there are those who hate it so much, that they continually mock it and disrespect those who believe in it. The same care not to understand, but only to destroy utterly what they loathe.

For those who hate Calvinism with the latter kind of hatred... this meme is for you.

That was more of a joke. Personally. I believe in predestination to an extent. I’m a 4 point Calvinist. However, I think we have free will too. I believe we have free will in regulars to our choices. The only thing I believe to be predestined by God is salvation. I believe people are predestined by God to accept him or to not accept Him. Everything else is up to us... at least that’s my opinion.

If you disagree, I’d love to have a civil debate about it :)

We might be closer in similarity than you think.

You've said that the only thing you believe in relations to Predestination is accepting and rejecting of Him. That is the most controversial aspect of Calvinism.

Why do you believe that, if you don't mind me asking?

I believe that people are too evil by nature to pick God out of their own free will.

Wby?

I was curious to see how close you really are to being a full Calvinist.

You see, most 4-Pointers reject Predestination.... but you're not one of them. And the reason for your belief in Predestination is based on man's nature.

Now, I'm curious; what is that one point you reject; preventing you from becoming a full Calvinist?

I don’t believe in limited atonement. Because God (and thus Jesus) is omnipotent, it seems as though he would have the capabilities to redeem everyone in the world, and the Bible says he died for the sins of the world... not the sins of the elect.

That's an interesting reason for your rejection of Limited Atonement. It had me asking myself "What's stopping God from saving all?" And God did say that He died for the sins of the world.

With that said, given the depravity of mankind, what basis should He save all? If He does that, then would that not make Him unjust for simply letting sin go unpunished?

If God saved everyone, there would be no justice.

If He saved no one, there would be no mercy

So He meets in the middle.

What if the Carnal Mind factors in God's decision?

We know that man is a sinner, therefore the just God requires justice; but if he condemns all, then He would be ignoring His loving and merciful nature. In that alone, you would be correct. However, what if mankind is not only a sinner but one whose mind is bent on rebellion?

Romans 8:7 says that the Carnal Mind is enmity with God for it is not subject to God's laws, neither it can be.

To have a carnal body is one thing; we're subjected to our fleshly temptations to sin. but if our mind is set, then that is another. With that, 1/3 of humanity will He only save.
