Well there's a little secret to getting ahead around here...it starts upvoting (@ least) the comments thayt you respond to.. . Unless the comment requires LESS - and some do. Use the down hammer sparringly...because some folks know how to count - and may lash out, perhaps blindly...and what's the point, anyway - again w/ RARE exceptions (comment(er) reputation becomes a factor, based on an algorithm, for the most part).
If you add memes to the comments you upvote (the "add meme" button, for comment on features AND comment upon commentary) - the points add up Quik - in both directions.
You can also cut and paste (hack) a bit, to insert links to past memes within your text - like so -

How do you get the meme to show automatically so people don't have to click to show it? This site really should have some instructions somewhere. I've only managed to do the "click to show" responses so far.
Hit add meme and create. It will appear in your comment automatically. Otherwise cut and paste the address for the page for a direct jump link. The click to show method was explained above - and it sounds like you know it anyway.
