It's hard to make a gif from scratch. Most gifs I post on imgflip are straight up copies from the internet. I've made a few from scratch though and a few by editing? parts. As far as memes go, let's say one inspires another. Any user is free to repost or tweak the imgflip creations I post, I always consider that to be a high compliment. If someone asks, I always say yes. If they don't ask, I'm cool with that too.

Same here. I try my best to research if an image or idea has already been done. Then I go for it. As far as anyone posting something I've done before... I don't care.

For me, it's something I figured out early on here. I asked myself how would I feel if I saw someone repost my stuff. I Iooked around and researched. There's no point in acting like something is mine. It's not, they're all ideas that go from mind to mind. If someone can use something in part or whole and get upvotes or make themselves or someone else smile and laugh, I'm all for it. That's the main reason why I'm here, for the laughs. To give them, to get them, to share them.

I do not. Ever. It says that you have no creativity, and all you can do is repeat other people's ideas. It doesn't say anything about you except that.

Just to let you know he's not doing it as a joke. He has been attacking people for reposting pretty much non-stop for the past few weeks. If you could see every comment he's had for the past month or so you'd know what I mean. Ironically, his past four memes are "stolen"

And the fact that you say that it's stolen is ironic because your past 4 memes are "stolen". And the Grandfather clock one. And the Resturant meme. And the knock-Knock joke one. And the one where you call your phone to find your phone. I'm sure there are many many more.

No one who reposts a meme from elsewhere ever said it was their original meme. If someone says that they created it originally, but they really didn't, then that is stealing. But sometimes, what if they thought of the meme by themselves without realizing it's been made before. That's happened many times on this site.
If you are going to repost a meme, or even recreate it, stop getting mad when other users do it.
