We are all here to create what we like, I'd rather make something original that gets a few upvotes than try and make stuff based on what has done well for votes. But that's me, it's worked out well for me at times. If you like familiarity that's cool you do you, just try to avoid copy and pasting another persons idea. I've seen people get reputations for copying things and then when they have a great idea people don't believe they didn't copy it from somewhere. We are all after different things here, we are all individuals. I don't make things for points but I can't say I don't like it when I make something that does good. I've also made some crazy stuff here that has blown up on reddit but not gotten many votes here. Memes are created here to be copied and shared by others on FB or in text messages. People come here for stuff to do that with, I make things that nobody has seen and found an audience for that. That's who I am, and it's hard for me not to say something when I see the same meme go around 10 times.
