Lighting hit a tree about twenty feet away as I rode my bike passed it (School let out early due to a hurricane approaching) and later missed by about a minute at a cookout when it started raining. They sent me out to get the last of the food off the grill and right after I closed the door coming back in, lighting struck the grill.

You can't drag me outside when it's cutting up with lightning! Don't like it at all! :) You're very Blessed my friend! :) Stay safe this summer! ;)

If only the one that was just at the end of my street was in here, you should have seen it. It happened the other day at around 4:30 in the morning, and it was extremely loud. I have never actually seen a lightning bolt strike that close to me before.

Yeah, the one that hit the car was awesome! Probably not so much to them! We lost a home when I was little from a lightning strike! And I've seen trees completely stripped of bark from it! A very powerful force of nature that should be respected! I don't like it lol!
