Oh man that reminds me of a game I just got a couple of days ago!
Napoleon: total war
I had my men moving out when my enemy was on my right flank so I had my boys turn around and some go into a pair of trees but then some cavalry came and nearly wiped them out
I saved my men by ordering them to go into square formation(a formation to protect the flag bearer, commander, and musician in a square of aimed muskets and muskets with bayonets fixed to take on the enemy cave, I even had my cannons to help out, but they where half busy with the enemy cannons, can't have those bearing down on my soldiers

I used to love video games when my son was young, but haven't anything in forever! :)
