actually, if the cat trusts you enough, if you unconditionaly loved her since forever 'till forever, and if that cat is extremely sociable and loves humans, then she MIGHT allow it. trust me, one of my 2 cats does.

there's always an exception, but the rule states, "don't rub a cat's belly, by all means rub a dog's belly"
Cats don't let you rub their belly because it's their weak spot. It's a dog's weak spot too, but they let you rub their belly. This doesn't really make sense...
