Those guys(Red Letter Media/Half in the Bag Productions) review movies and were poking fun at Star wars fans. It's actually really funny how they do it even though they would include me in the group they were mocking.

Obviously the Obi/Maul thing was neat. And that Sabine is going for the Mandalore title too. which is just like her ancestor Shae Vizsla from TOR.

And they seem like they improved the recordings of Thrawn cause I could make out his dialogue a lot easier.

I'm just worried they'll end the show after this season or maybe after a fourth.

I think the Spectres should carry on through to the sequel trilogy's story line. And it would be great to see them fighting at Hoth and Endor. :{D

It was an awesome trailer. They released a trailer for the Geonosis episode last week showing Saw in that. I heard it was Forest too and that's cool. It would've been cool to get his storyline in Rebels before RO.

I wonder if that will be the end of Maul. I know in the comics they had Maul get killed by Obi on Tatooine.

I didn't get far at all into TOR so I didn't know that about the Vizsla connection.

Have you heard that Filoni has pretty much made this dude on Endor Rex? He's the guy that takes the Scout's blaster after he chases Han.

Man I don't know about Kanan and Ezra being around in the ST. Don't you think that would take away the mystique of Luke? I know he's not officially named the last Jedi until Yoda's death scene in ROTJ, but I think it would be weird if they were still around.

I saw the one with Saw like a night or two ago, so I don't know why the trailer wasn't in the suggestions.

And yep, they're improving this season nicely. They kind of lulled for a few episodes and now they're picking back up.

I think it's neat that his eye color is in between the shade of blue from Cw and the brown in R1. Like some chemical or natural radiation or the force or something is affecting his eye color. And that's kind of like the Sith effect on eye color but for non-Force users?

His lazy eye was kind of sad though. Like, they didn't have to give him that, but it's neat that they did so Forest is in a way physically playing Saw on Rebels. But I feel bad for him having such a noticeable ailment.

I hope they do the comic/EU storyline with Maul and Obi. If they stretch their fight out over a two parter and Obi slays him at the end, that will be pretty epic to me.

I played some of TOR, but read some of the novels and wanted the TOR figures they made of her, the soldier, and Malgus.

Shae's obviously the design origin of Sabine in the same way that Khota is Kanan's origin(I don't care what Freddie or Filoni says about Zatoichi, :{P)

I've seen that pic floating around of the Endor soldier and Rex side by side but never knew that Filoni is making that Rex. That's genius! And I love that Rex survives that long if they follow through with that. It makes so much sense to have Rex leading Commandos. Totally cool!

Yoda and Obi were both notorious for certain point of view dialogues though.

Yoda more than likely isn't being literal, but speaking in hyperbole when he says "the last of the jedi, will you be". Yoda also mentions there is another meaning Leia, so he wasn't being literal in any way, just he thinks that Luke is probably the only one.

And the EU would every now and then have a force sensitve pop up like Kyle Katarn or Corran Horn that would seek Luke out.

So by saying he's the last "jedi" he's saying last force user trained as a jedi and not the last force user.

Ahsoka says she isn't a jedi too in Disney's fan fic, so I can see Ezra and Kanan being around.

But, maybe they became Luke's students and fell to Kylo and the Knights of Ren?

Remember in TFA that guy who gets stabbed in Rey's dream wearing the rice patty hat? what if that's Kanan? Or Ezra?

Yeah I love that Rex is there at Endor now. I'd love for the whole crew to be but I don't know about Kanan and Ezra. Yoda and Obi sure love their point of view bullshit lol, just like JJ Abrams loves to lie because he's a little chicken neck bastard. *Alex Jones voice* Daisy Ridley said she thought it was obvious who her parents were in TFA after JJ said they weren't. He also said Kahn wasn't in Into Darkness. It would just be weird to me if Kanan and Ezra were actively involved with the Alliance by the time of RO and the ST and weren't recommended to lead the mission of getting the DS plans. I can't picture the guy you're talking about from Rey's vision, but if they could find a way to keep them away from the main story of the OT and have them pop back up again that would be cool.

Hopefully Del Torro isn't just some lame character or the new Lando and is Ezra. What worries me is the casino just being the Cloud City of the new trilogy.

Rex is a freaking beast of a survivor.

Kanan and Ezra could possibly be on other missions at the time.

And in the EU, Dark Forces specifically, Kyle Katarn rescues Crix and they get the "partial plans" of the DS. So R1 to me still fits that by getting the rest.

And Leia says the data still needs to be analyzed in ANH.

So maybe Kanan and Ezra are apart of the plan somehow? Like maybe the Spectres get the info on the Imp Pilot(Bhodi) to give to Cassian to find that informant in the beginning of the film?

I can totally see the Spectres being used to fill in gaps of the film's stories like that.

And Chopper and presumably Hera being at Y4 could mean that they helped track down the guy on that Juggernaut transport at the Imp prison they find Jyn at.

I hope Benico isn't a lame character or cameo too. That would be another huge waste of talent.

Did you ever see Raid or Raid2? Iko Uwais and the long haired dude are total badass action hero types and they're characters wasted their talents.

To do the same to Benico would be tragic. He needs to be either a dark side user or a Xizor/Jabba/Tyber Zahn/Talon Karde crime lord type. But if they make him some basic nerfherder that's going to suck.

The casino thing worries me because the black and white tuxedo like costumes. And that boxy landspeeder is kind of lame. I'd really need to see how they handle those scenes, but I am not impressed with any of that so far.

I am impressed with the Jedi Temple on Luke's planet. And I hope to God that they make Luke fight like Clone wars Obi or Yoda. That would be epic. I get that he's old now too, both in character and as an actor, but I like to think he's more spry than Obi/Vader in ANH.

Are you referring to spoilers showing more of the temple or just what was shown at the end of TFA? It's definitely an awesome locale. I like how Skellig was an old Christian monastary too. It definitely feels like a mystical place.

I never saw those Raid movies but I hope Del Torro isn't just a Lando rehash and we get a new original story for 8. I think Luke will be a badass for sure. They know people are dying to see that. I wonder if we'll get a trailer at the superbowl or if we'll have to wait for celebration.

It only spoils the exterior look of part of the temple. It didn't show anything else that I could tell.

The temple has a really beautiful design almost like something from KOTOR. I think it was a great positive for 8.

I didn't know it's history though. A Christian Monastery makes sense with the Jedi being a reference to the Templars(just one of many sources for inspiration of the Jedi for George like Samurai).

I hope they're keeping a Lando cameo a secret and the casino is a Calrissian Casino. And maybe they meet Benicio(Dang I was misspelling it earlier) there?

I can see them doing a 10-30 second teaser at the SB. They should go ahead and start advertising it now since it's the end of the year. But maybe they don't want to over advertise it and make people tired of hearing the words Star wars?

Celebration could have a slightly longer teaser too though and it would help drum up the hype over the course of this year.

And you know they're going to want to honor Carrie Fisher at Celebration. So that would be a great time to show a small bit of her in 8.

The only leaked images I've seen are the temple, the casino aliens/staff, the casino landspeeder, and Rey and I think Finn on a giant chihuahua like horse creature in the streets that looks like it's near the Casino.

And even though I'm not into their universe, I can't help but be curious about what they're going to do with it. :{

Hard to say what will happen with Leia. She may have died in 8 anyway according to Collider.

I love the old stuff with Templars and all of that. The Assassins Creed movie is supposed to be pretty bad but the scenes from the 1400s are supposedly pretty awesome. I guess they made like half the movie in present times which is stupid.

Yeah I love the AC games. I've played the first 3 but haven't gotten a chance for the others.

But I didn't like the trailers for the film because it's not Desmond and the first video game's story. And I hate how Hollywood is afraid/unwilling to make a straight adaptation. watchmen is the only exception coming to mind and even it isn't pure.

If you're into the Templar/Crusade history stuff, Kingdom of Heaven is a great film about them. And despite Orlando Bloom being the lead, the film is really good.

I didn't see the tree thing. The Temple itself sort of had a tree look to it to me so maybe the pic was too blurry and I thought it was stacked stones like the other parts?

I guess the Obi film would have to take place after the Rebels episode? But I'm sure they'd do some back and forth on the timeline to see how he settled in and all.

If Ewan is in the ST, it's probably going to be 9 after they off Luke or Leia and then there will be a huge Force Ghost family reunion at the end of 9 like ROTJ.
