Oh trust me, you're not. I remember at campfires my dad and his friends would throw in their bottle/can things. They had a lid, so the air inside would build up, and then they would explode, with a racket that would wake up the neighborhood. The leafblower volcano doesn't hurt anything but the yard. :)
