The Nintendo Switch confuses me still...

Explain!

It has detachable controllers (I'm more used to the 3DS) which is nice but it has the feeling of the Nintendo Wii. I saw it plays DS and 3DS games but their is no bottom screen, which the switch won't have the competitive feeling for games like Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but it looks odd for a console. I'll give it a shot though...

It's going to be so outdated if what you saying is true.

Not with software updates. Unless the media on which the games are made (bluray?) advances, there's not a real need to update the hardware.

The only thing that I can think of that can damage the sells of this console.
is if Nintendo prise it too high like the will U.
But that will only damage the sell because I see lot of people buying this
no matter what.
