because the cameraman would most likely be saying watch out and everyone else would be yelling, and they would probably get out of the way instead of catching it
maybe they didnt notice it cuz they were looking away? and maybe there was no on else around. cuz they can set the camera up like a tripos so they just stand there. and the news reporter was looking at the guy so she couldn't see it. `-`
well maybe the rest of the team on the field (on the field, so they cant move him out of the way) yelled and then he caught it?? but i could be fake idk :P
