Right leg straightens thru impact while left leg stays bent. Creates a powerful hip rotation via vertical force ...like a mirror image of the Ground Force Reaction of a golf swing
Do not shovel i.e. keep the end cap and racket tip in line thru swing ... you must bring the butt cap in first, let it pass your body and then snap the tip thru ball low to high
also, adjust the right hand grip so that knuckles face more upwards ...kinda like a hammer grip ...you do not want a bowed right wrist b/c it is then difficult to brush up thru contact
Forward Swing: Imagine you are in a pool and your left hand is skimming the surface to splash a friend with water ...this is the "feeling" of the forward stroke in a 2HBH ...however it is key to start the swing 1' below the oncoming ball
unit turn with right shoulder pointing at the on-coming ball ...chin (almost) rests on right shoulder ...palm of left hand should face the ground at start of fwd swing ...racket face is closed via the grip (not a wrist twist) ... this allows the strings to be vertical at contact ...body weight is on the left foot and transfers to right thru impact ...must position racket 1' below oncoming ball swinging lo to hi with dominant left hand ... rear leg bends slightly lower than front leg ...impact ball in front of right foot ...hit thru and up snapping left hand above right to impart topspin ...power comes from rotating torso ..left foot comes around after impact ...finish with left elbow hi (big nose)
