Upvote for you too! I actually voted for Cruz but he's pissing me off. Trump may just be crazy enough to do what he says (which would prove he isn't a politician). He's loud, sometimes crude, bombastic, egotistical, and politically a babe in the woods. But he's hung in there and seems to have the momentum. And I get the sense that someone with his stratospheric ego would do everything necessary to propel the country forward, if for no other reason than to go down in the history books as a great President of, by, & for the people. Can he do it? Who knows? But things can't get much worse.

The lawyers and politicians have been digging this hole for a lot of years, I think if for no other reason it might be good to have Trump around to turn the lights ON in the white house and invite the cameras in. I am starting to believe as I see the behavior going on around him that this IS what the establishment on both sides are actually afraid of.

I doubt trump greatly. For someone who has gone bankrupt 4 times, this is not someone who is going to be turning America's economy around. And as for the wall being built, the Mexicans won't give a single peso for that wall. Trump can't run the military, so when trump wins and goes to war to get the Mexicans to pay for the wall, which will happen, we will lose the war, and we will lose land to the people who we are building a wall to block off.

Trump never went bankrupt. That's a common misunderstanding and intentional distortion of bankruptcy when a company files for reorganization under the current laws.

I know you won't believe me but that's okay. I know the truth of how to use bankruptcy protection to get a company get back on its feet (having done it myself).

And therein lies the problem ... those who hate him for [insert whatever here] don't take the time to understand how business works and usually rely only on the emotions inflamed by the media to form their opinions.

Yes he did, he's exploited bankruptcy law at the expense of tens of thousands of jobs in NJ where I grew up. He's despised there for good reason. There's a reason he has minimal support where he made all his money (without being a good businessman).
