My once softer stomach is hard and the pain unbearable again, my mouth tasting of death as it has before. I scurry off to bed and lay back down. The side of my stomach touches the mattress as a lie in the same position a child would. Still pained and nauseous, I feel a familiar slow burn in and on my chest as if someone had set it on fire. My lungs seem to barely function for a few moments, tears from the pain filling my eyes up. And I write this, still suffering but tears dried out.
