Hardly! Agree that the convictions we hold in our hearts are so profound, that we cannot in all good conscience mutually accept the views that oppose them, but do not have to give each other a hard time, nor waste precious time and energy trying to 'convert' the unconvertible, for want of a better term. During time in ministry I have endured greatly spurious and unchristian comments, but I do not return in kind, for that only causes more pain, and is in opposition to the philosophy I follow. The truth, will always find its place in the hearts of those that seek it, and I trust in God enough to make that happen.
Thank you for for commenting - I have answered both on the other comment, and we can at least agree I am sure it is the MOST important subject, even if our viewpoint reaches a different conclusion about the love of God.
Thank you for that! There will be plenty more to come - when John Wesley said that his Parish was the world, I like to think that such ways of reaching people would have been 'most up his street' so to speak. God bless kind sir!
I think that is my point Socrates... The whole world seems to think a man born in Bethlehem 2000 years ago looks like a renaissance European - there are so many misconceptions regarding Yeshua. To reply to your other comment at the same time, whilst I respect your viewpoint, I was always taught, and will continue to teach, that Gods love is unconditional - a truth which points to itself, and finally, Jesus used parables to explain his philosophy of the good news to the masses, to make it more 'user friendly' so I cannot agree that it I 'just' a meme. If it reaches many, and helps people to open their eyes to the truth that we must not judge, but love each other... I don't see that as a bad thing. God bless you, and thank you for commenting. X
