Adonai Bezek (Lord of Lightning) is a type of anti-christ/satan. Cleansing rituals in the temple signified the anointing/christening of the Right Ear (hearing), the Right Thumb (doing), and Right Big-Toe (going). This anti-christ figure symbolizes the incapacitation of the going/doing complex leaving the constituent members only capable of being "hearers-only".

The Messiah symbolically reversed this effect in the sending out of the 70 (Luke 10:1) what He said when they came back isn't irrelevant either (Luke 10:16-21).
