Roman's 6:1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Roman's 6:6-7 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him , that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.
These verses explain that the person who has believed in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ does not have to and should not sin. If you are a Christian, "Christ-like", why would you strive to sin? Even if you never sinned after getting saved, Christ's death would not be in vain. He didn't just die for your sins, he died for everyone's sins- past, present, and future.
