here's a way to look at it, the image here is called yin and yang
it's an opposite but interconnected, self-perpetuating cycle. We are what we are, you can't change my opinion on trump because his values are intrinsically contradictory to mine, just as I can't change your values because your values are contradictory to mine, the world isn't black and white, there is no "good and bad" anyone who thinks like that is just naive.
From the perspective of France napoleon was a hero spreading liberty throughout Europe, from the perspective of monarchy Europe, he was a tyrant. From the perspective of Abraham Lincoln he was the hero liberating the southern slaves, from the perspective of the south, he was an extremist coming to take their livelihoods away, from the perspective of a trump supporter, trump is making america great again and saving it from the woke left who are trying to destroy america, from the perspective of the 'woke left' trump is coming to destroy our livelihoods and remove our rights and freedoms.
History is written by the winners, the battle just isn't over yet
I don't know what your parents told you, but this world isn't black and white, your community's needs and values don't reflect the whole world. For some people right beliefs is what they need, for others left is what they need, but there is no such thing as a balance, there will always be people who don't agree with you.
I'm not evil, and you're not evil, we just have different political opinions, we believe in different things. You support trump because he's against the LGBT, I HATE trump for that same reason
enforcing your own values on another NEVER WORKS, ask your teacher about 'prohibition'
Imagine if YOU were a member of the LGBT, would you like having your right to vote, free speech, expression, religion, whatever taken away?
Imagine if trump was a leftist and project 2025 was removing heterosexual rights, would you like to be taken to a conversion camp where you're tortured until you either commit seppuku or turn gay?
Human rights are inalienable and trying to remove them is directly contradictory to what the united states stands for, it was quite literally born on the idea of freedom. Taking freedom away is nothing short of evil
