This will be my last reply to you. I’m sure it will be in vain but nevertheless… here it goes. So the President of the United States basically suggested an idea that a five-year-old would have come up with to treat COVID-19. He said to one of his medical advisors, and I’m paraphrasing a bit, “Disinfectant knocks it out in a minute. Is there a way we can do something like that? Like injection inside?” Tell me, would you have come up with the idea of injecting disinfectants to treat COVID-19, much less verbalize it to someone? Something tells me you’re smarter than that. So what compels you to defend a man that would come up with such a ludicrous and dangerous suggestion on live TV where there may be poor, sick and desperate Trump supporters who may actually think injecting themselves with Lysol might be an alternative to try? And, yes, there are people foolish enough to try it. We live in a world where kids were putting chemically poisonous Tide Pods in their mouths after all. For the record, I don’t think it is funny. It’s quite scary that the President of our United States actually verbalized such a statement. I have to laugh and point out its absurdity in a meme or else I’d go into a much deeper depression than this whole pandemic has gotten me into. I also made it in the hopes that people like you, staunch defenders of Trump, who think he can do no wrong, would laugh and think to themselves, “Would I have said that?” The truth of the matter is, if you consider yourself to be a person of average intelligence or higher, you know damn well you would have never thought of, much less said what he did yesterday. And that alone would make you a better President than he’s being right now. Hopefully that would in turn make you think, “Maybe I should have chosen a different, smarter Republican in 2016 to be our Presidential candidate.” I do know one thing, if President Hillary Clinton said what Trump did yesterday, I sure as hell would not be defending her dumb ass. My party loyalty only goes so far and really stupid people are where I draw the line.
Remember when we had to shelter in place and wear masks because of the Swine Flu? Yeah, me neither. Nice try with you whataboutisms. By the way, you are aware that the COVID-19 U.S. death toll currently stands at 52,202. 52,202 > 12,000.
Yeah. The guy who could speak intelligently and that had a plan in place for dealing with an epidemic like the one we’re in the middle of now.
