He served beginning I think in 1958, the Korean War was in the early 1950s, 1953… Johnny Cash was also in the military in Germany. He served as a radio operator in the AF. It was actually Cash who was the first person to learn of Soviet Premier, Stalin’s death, and it was Johnny Cash who passed on the information to the “free world”.
