I understand completely. But if there are certain groups of immigrants that are undergoing troubles within the nation (racism, police brutality, segregation, etc.), then I believe they have the right to say something.
I mean, you don't expect to flee from a dangerous country only to seek refuge in one that can be malicious towards its new residents.
As for the meme, I guess I should restate my caption (although we can't ignore the fact that some Americans believe they "own" their country). It's more about being deprived of the world you were so accustomed to and that the nature itself raised you in various ways, you get what I mean?
Note: If this offends you, then I'm sorry you feel that way -but seriously, if you use the top caption against African-Americans, Hispanics, Syrians, and all other races, then learn to expand your insight and act less like a f**ktard.
