I'm banking that none of you live in rural Texas. So, you don't have to worry about transportation, many private schools have additional fees for food, certain classes, musical instruments, books etc. And please remember in Texas, private schools can refuse any student without giving a reason. Finally, do you really think the private schools who educate about 348,000 students could accommodate the 5.9M public school students? Numbers are not elitist, but many politicians qualify and would like nothing better than to funnel public dollars to their top donor's children's schools.
