A=I think there are things in the Bible that can seem to be more difficult to understand and scripture says these things are spiritually discerned. One of the short answers is; 2 Pet. 3:8Beloved, do not let this one thing escape your notice:...9The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance. We have free will, we can reject God, reject salvation, and miss out on the everlasting love that God desires for us. It is our choice, we make it but I firmly believe we will also reap a result of that choice. If we are "believers" we have the Spirit of God to understand the word of God better.
