The problem is how facile and compliant humans are.

And it will likely have less durability and (as evolution suggests) shortened existence.

The science is still out on how this virus evolves compared to its predecessors. History favors the notion that a virus’ “virulence” declines with evolution/time. However, it’s durability outside of the host (as variants arise) will determine its longevity
