I've LOATHED and DESPISED this F**KING movie ever since 1984 when a friend of mine dragged me to the theater to watch it! It is, and always will be, without a doubt, THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT I EVER HAD TO ENDURE!
Having your father get you into the National Guard to avoid going to Vietnam and then going AWOL for a year is not what most people would call "honorable service."
