God created man and woman to have marriage and intimacy if God wanted same-sex marriage he wouldn't have created two genders. He would have just created man or woman. Genesis 2:24 states "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." Or Genesis 1:27 says "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Even in the Ten Commandments, it says "Honor your father and mother..." Again showing a relationship between two opposite genders. Even in the New Testament, Romans 1:26-27 says "For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error." or 1 Timothy 1:9-10 "Understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine" It very clearly states a man lying with another man is dishonoring God. There is a difference between believing in God and following God. Believing in God is acknowledging He exists but following God means changing your mindset. heart, actions, thoughts, and alternately changing your whole life. I'm not saying this to mean but to inform you of the truth. I understand the truth stings but from a person who was in the LGBTQ+ group, I can say it is another sin. It is just another thing we put into our hearts to fulfill a void that only Jesus can fill.
Jesus' parables are really great! I love reading them as well. I have two favorite books, Job and Romans. Job because it highlights that God will allow us to go through trials and talks about how great and powerful God is. I love Romans because Paul reminds us, how we are horrible sinners and that we need Jesus. It also does like a rerun through the 10 commandments and shows that we should still follow them even if we are saved.
