You can google "what does 420 mean" and then read the search results without actually clicking anything. Also, does your place not have libraries? Do you not have a friend with a phone? You don't have a computer at home? Its not uncommon for school kids not to know what 420 means. So you can pretty easily say you honestly had no clue.... What? You think they're gonna throw you in juvenile prison for searching a word? Do you live in China?
Why not? People are given medical cards for cannabis because it effectively treats specific issues when used responsibly. It is not a crime to have knowledge.
