Wouldnt it equal 8 LMAO. Parenthesis comes first, so 2+2 = 4. No number in between means multiply. So it’ll be 8/2x4. Now we go from left to right in Order of operations. So 8/2= 4, bring down. 4x4= 16.

Also I was taught that you could distribute. So 2(2+2) would be 2 x 2 plus 2 x 2 to get 8. Then do 8 / 8 and get 1. So this problem really depends on the situation I guess.
