In a large amount of cases the fetus and/or mother would have died in childbirth if they did not abort the fetus. Though it is easy to call this "murder", in reality you are aborting a fetus who would have been killed anyway, and saving the mother. I see where your coming from but the "abortion is murder" movement is largely misleading.
