There are 2 ways to dehydrate herbs.
Sun drying (Note: this will make the herbs lose colour and taste)
1. Gather herbs
2. Rinse herbs
3. Hang them upside down for 5 days or more till they are dry
Microvawe drying
1. Gather herbs
2. Rinse herbs
3. Put in microvawe for 30 seconds at 600 watt till dry and crispy (Only do SMALL!!! amounts at a time)
1. Blanching the vegetables
1.Fill kettle half full with plain water or citric acid solution and bring to boil.
2.Put the prepared vegetables in a cheesecloth or mesh bag.
3.Drop the vegetable bags in boiling water and start timing. Make sure that the vegetable is
covered with water. Shake the bag so that water reaches all pieces. Blanch for around 4-6
minutes.
4.Remove the vegetable bag and immediately transfer it to a bowl of ice-cold water to stop it
from cooking.
5. Drain well or dry on a paper towel before arranging them on drying trays.
2. Put in oven for atleast 4 hours till dry. Do this at 140 farenheit to 150 Farenheit
