I used the legends never die album cover for reference and started the drawing in pencil then I lightly erased it with a kneaded eraser the I use alcohol markers for the colors start with the hi light colors to color block a base and go from light to dark and I rarely use my darkest markers, but you gotta be careful with layering cos the bleeding can cause some problems especially with dark or bold colors (that's why I accidentally made the eyes too big) also keep in mind the colors will change a bit when they set but nothing too crazy, I also mostly used brush tip markers and focused on getting the colors right over a perfect silhouette as the bleeding will somewhat bloat the smaller details, I will say tho it took me a while and a lot of Christmas presents to get all the markers for this so that will probably put a dent in your wallet, I use ohuhu markers (all of them are Honolulu series) which are way cheaper than copics and they get the job just fine
