BTW, i haven't read Goethe's work, just read snippets here and there from his story. The subject matter, that being making a deal/ bargain with the devil in exchange for one's soul is interesting, maybe even tempting, but altogether cautionary. I've seen the silent movie version made in 1926 twice now and i've explored other movies with a similar theme. One i also really liked was called, "The Queen Of Spades" (1949).
Hi, I don't have the ability it seems to comprehend a heaven or a hell so i'm stuck in between. I can't make that choice. I tell you, it's driving me mad and i myself am driving others mad i the process, those at the moment being the few Catholics who know me online and possibly those at the parish i was attending too before lockdown struck. Presently? So does that mean you have hope?
