I actually agree with this and think that gender reassignment surgery should only be done with a person that can consent as an ADULT because as a child they aren't able to fully understand things like their gender and GRS can possibly cause a feeling of regret later on in life but I do think small things like taking estrogen or testosterone is okay because that can be reversible
it literally is one though??? the word was made to suppress against disabled people and the term "slur" in this context is a word made as an insult targeting a member of an oppressed group and disabled people ever so happen to be an oppressed group throughout history
