I can't make make out whether that's an E-6 patch on his chest or an E-4 on his shoulder, but either way, he's making 2000-2400 a month in base pay. Working 40 hours a week, that's 12 bucks an hour - which no McDonald's employee is being paid unless they live somewhere like SF or Seatle with 15/hr minimum wages (where the McDonalds probably all closed shop anyway). And that doesn't count all the benefits or bonuses earned by the active duty military. Don't get me wrong, I support our troops and think they deserve more for what they do, but for you to make exagerated statements to try and garner support or sympathy doesn't help the cause, why don't you try comparing them to the panhandlers that are pulling 6 figures, or the professional athletes making multi-millions instead of just making stuff up and sounding like a moron.
