So in this game you can build a base, after a bit, your base will draw attention from the Nazis, it depends where you build your base also (forest will have the least and a city will have the most) there are 10 forms of detection all happening within 10-20 days in between each other, I will explain in order:
First the Nazis won’t know of you
2nd the Nazis will spy on you and start to plan a raid
3rd the Nazis will have a stealthy raid
4th the Nazis will send a small battalion after you
5th, mortars, about 5 at a time for every hour, these kill you but don’t damage your base all that much (except wood and shit)
6th, the SS starts to get involved and will send elite troops armed with MG42s and some other “fun” guns like flamethrowers and Panzershrecks
7th paratroopers, these will be their wermalach (idk if I’m saying it right) they have STG44s and more assault rifles
8th this is the SS and the 4th one combined, the SS command the other troops
