Kneeling is a sign of protest and remembrance for some of the people who got shot by cops for running away while black. Kneeling to the ANTHEM is not disrespecting the flag or the country. It's protesting the jingoistic words in the ANTHEM by saying this isn't quite a free country yet. Certainly not the greatest. More like the 20th.
