Since its beginnings in the early 1800s, the modern Democrat Party has focused on power instead of equality. When Lincoln freed the slaves, the Democrats rebelled (the Civil War) against the idea that “all men are created equal.” After the war, they tolerated, encouraged, and supported groups like the KKK, Red Shirts, Knights of the White Camellia, and White League. These groups used threats, intimidation, violence, and even murder to intimidate Blacks and Republican voters to regain/maintain power and solidify their power base. It’s why Democrats were able to implement Jim Crow laws and so-called ‘Black Codes’ in America. Although the House of Representatives apologized for slavery and Jim Crow laws in 2008, the Democrat Party never has. In contrast, they still openly support the tactics of threats, intimidation, and violence in order to maintain power.
Yes, I see them. And they are wrong. Supremacy groups are about power and control. This power manifests itself is various ways, and is not limited to race. The KKK, Red Shirts, and other supremacy groups have had power as their goal since the advent of organized American supremacy groups in the 1860s. Today, it's power over principles. We must always remember that principles exercised by government directly affect people. Regardless of the vehicle used to exercise/promote supremacy over a group of people by another group, it would be stupid to exclude any individual who supports that supremacy. It just happens that the largest modern vehicle is the Democrat Party.
