Ashstar was the third leader of LucidClan, succeeding Sprucestar. After being manipulated by Flashdawn, an evil Dark Forest spirit, he was consumed by power and became an extremely strict leader.
He enforced laws during his leadership. He forbade kittypets and loners and rogues from joining Clans, and had a clear distrust for the other Clans, which broke their alliances.
When the numbers in his Clan were dwindling, he forced to bring kits born outside the Clan, but he always had distain for each of them. He also enforced strict rules towards the apprentices and warriors. If they did something that was considered stupid or disloyal, they would be severely punished. He had severely mauled and put kits to sleep by deathberries and slaughtered kits from outside Clans so LucidClan could stay in power.
His leadership didn’t last long as starvation wiped out almost all of the Clan, including himself. He currently resides in the Dark Forest as Cricketstar, LucidClan’s new deputy, tries to rebuild the Clan with the help of the only four cats left alive during his reign.
