Not all autistic people stare at others. For example, I stare at nature when I'm thinking, but I never stare at people (unless they are in a conversation with me). The autistic kid could be staring at something in your general direction. Autism isn't something to be made fun of, it's simply a more abstract way of thinking. Needless to say, I downvoted.

You can never know if anyone has autism or not unless they say "i'm autistic" in a serious (and verbal) way.
